CEP Digital Media Festival: WINNERS!

Thank you to everyone who came along to the CEP Digital Media Festival and supported Tighes Hill PS! It was a great night with all of our cluster schools and plenty of stalls and entertainment. Well done to our Tigers Aerobics team and our BandLink performers who entertained the crowd. Congratulations to our amazing actors for their talented performances in our winning film!
Watch it below! Stay tuned, we’ll be sharing our extended cut next week.

Persuasive Infomercials

Last term students worked in groups to create and film a persuasive infomercial for an imaginative product of their choice. Have a look at their wonderful work below!

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable holiday – students return to school on Tuesday.

OC Soap Opera

Below you will find the first episode of the OC Soap Opera. Earlier this year, Dan came up with the idea to write and film a soap opera with each episode featuring different characters from the OC. The story revolves around our young protagonist Gill, the new kid at school and his adventures and mishaps with some of the interesting characters at this school. Well done to Dan, for his efforts and creativity. Apart from the filming at school, Dan has worked tirelessly in his spare time writing, storyboarding and editing. I hope you enjoy it and I look forward to episode 2!

Water Catchers!

Last term, students from the OC entered the Hunter Water – Water Catchers competition which involved writing a script and storyboard for a short film about water conservation.

Congratulations to Louis and Nelson, who were selected to have their entry made into a film!

A film crew will be visiting us at schoolย on Monday from 1-5pm to make our film and teach us some of the tricks of the trade. Thanks to Lachlan, Dan and Max who are going to be our actors.

Looking forward to a great day!
