Well done to everyone who took part in this year’s ICAS Science and Digital Technologies competitions. Students received their certificates today at our weekly assembly and there were some very impressive results!

Science

Distinctions – Raquel (top 5%), William (top 8%), Oscar (top 2%) and Noah K (top 2%). Principal Awards to Noah K and Oscar!

Digital Technologies

Participation – Eliza, Ty and Fin (top 50%)

Merits – Duncan (top 45%)

Credits – Emma (top 19%), Raquel  (top 26%), Grayson (top 19%), Jayden (top 34%), William (top 13%), Amie (top 26%), Ember (top 20%), Griffin (top 20%), Blade (top 20%), Eleanor (top 36%) and Sam (top 36%)

High Distinction & Principal’s Award – Noah K (top 1%)

And the Oscar goes to…


Congratulations to Ember, Indra, Eleanor and Elsie who were announced as the winners of our Stage 3 stop motion animation film competition today. Their short film MC2 will premiere and represent our school at the CEP Digital Media Festival on the 17th November. Well done to all of our Year 5/6 students who put in an amazing effort creating their films, designing sets, props and characters and editing to produce high quality final products. Placing 2nd, well done to Jatali, Mala and Nyah with their film Freckle Went To School and to Sam, Noah and Jarvis whose film Classroom came 3rd. We will be uploading our films in the near future for you to enjoy and will also screen them at our weekly assemblies in the coming weeks. Be sure to buy your tickets for the CEP Festival. Our aerobics team and bandlink students will also be performing. Tickets are $5 each or $10 for a family- on sale before school at the silver seats.


ICAS Digital Technologies

Well done to all of our students who took part in the ICAS Digital Technologies competition last term. Students received their certificates yesterday at our weekly assembly and we had some excellent results. 

Great work to Sia (top 48%), Freya, Eleanor and Ty who received Participation certificates. Well done to Sachin (top 39%) and Duncan (top 39%) who achieved Merits. Eliza (top 32%), S Willson (top 18%), Elsie (top 30%) and Oscar (top 24%) earned themselves Credits. Congratulations to Celeste (top 8%) and Blade (top 8%) who achieved Distinctions. Lastly, a huge well done to S Walsh and Noah who achieved High Distinctions for placing in the top 1% of all participants. That’s amazing!
