Rugby Champions!

Congratulations to our boys rugby team who represented our school at this year’s Paul Harragon Cup on Tuesday. The team played gallantly in the 7 a side competition achieving a respectable 2 wins and 2 draws. Special mentions to our OC champions – Callum named for best side step, Liam as super substitute and Noah for best support player. A big thank you also goes to Mr Gillett for organising the event and coaching our boys.

Super rugby boys!

Tennis

This morning our students participated in their first session with Michael from Michael Mills Tennis Coaching. Students worked on a variety of different tennis skills and later demonstrated some very impressive techniques during a match. Look out, Roger Federer!

Our coaching sessions will continue each Thursday until the end of term.

OC Champions

Yesterday many of our students represented our school at Zone Cross Country. All students achieved terrific results, especially our very own Mitchell, who came 1st in his division. What a champion! Mitch will be heading off to Regionals next term and we wish him all the best.

Cross Country

Today, thanks to the fine weather, students participated in their Cross Country events at Islington Park. It was great to see all students competing, doing their best and cheering each other on. We were particularly proud to see many of our OC students obtain winning places and they will now represent our school at Zone on Tuesday. Good luck!

Congratulations to the girls – Amy, Dayna, Eva, Katie and Matilda.

Well done to the boys – Rory, Ethan, Noah and Cooper

OC Swimming Champions!

Today our students participated in our annual swimming carnival at Mayfield Pool. It was terrific to see so many students from the OC having a go in all the events and doing a stellar job of achieving so many 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons. Well done to everyone and fingers crossed we have a few Zone representatives in a few weeks.
