Happy Holidays!

My final blog post for 2018! Thank you so much for a terrific year and for all the lovely gifts, cards and beautiful words this week. I have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful students and supportive parents.

Farewell to our amazing Year 6s! It was an emotional afternoon saying goodbye. We will miss you all but know you’ll come back and visit next year. Delightful Year 5s, see you soon! I’ll leave you with some final photos of Year 6 today. Have a fabulous Christmas and a relaxing break and see you in 2019!

Personal Reading Projects

To finish the term students completed a personal reading project, where they selected a book to read and review and created a beautiful folder showcasing highlights from their chosen novel. It was great to see so many different texts enjoyed by our Stage 3 students. The best from each class are displayed on the boards in our upper hall. So many great books!

NaNoWriMo novelists!

Congratulations to all our students who took part in the November writing challenge – NaNoWriMo. It was great to see so many students keen to take part and embark on writing a novel! Well done to everyone who reached their word count goal. Even though it’s now December, you can still keep writing!
