The Witches!

Just a reminder that our Stage 3 excursion to see Roald Dahl’s The Witches is coming up on Monday 5th June. Make sure your permission note and money has been returned to school.

Musica Viva!

A huge thank you to our wonderful P&C for the Musica Viva visiting performances today. TaikOz were amazing and everyone had a fun time learning about Japanese music and instruments. Thank you to our amazing music teacher, Miss Hibbert for all her efforts leading up to Musica Viva.

Mathematicians in Schools program

A huge thank you to our class mathematician, Dr Jarad Martin, who paid the OC a visit today as part of our CSIRO Mathematicians in Schools partnership. It’s always wonderful to have Dr Jarad join us and enlighten us all with his amazing knowledge of maths and science.

Tasty Science

This term we have been learning all about the Solar System and Space and this week we all enjoyed a rather delicious lesson about the moon. Have a look at our photos below of students replicating the phases of the moon using Oreos. Students also have an optional homework task of completing a Moon Tracker for a month.

Planetarium visit

To tie in with our Science unit this term on the Solar System, Mrs Bowman has organised a terrific opportunity for all our students with an incursion to the Planetarium. The OC’s visit is booked in for Tuesday 30th May (next week) so please ensure your note and payment has been returned. It’s going to be out of this world!
