Congratulations to our year 5/6 students who accompanied me at the Interschool Chess Challenge at HSPA today. We had a very successful day of competition, placing 1st in the primary division. Well done to Connor, who was the overall winner of the competition, Jamie who placed 2nd and Akira who placed 5th. All students performed exceptionally well, demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and terrific behaviour. Our school has now earned a position in the semi-finals coming up in term 3.
