Wonderful Writing!

Well done to our students who have worked hard to create a Storybird this term. Storybird is an online book creator where students can publish their writing as well as find beautiful visuals to include in their online books.

Farewell Year 6 :(

Thank you to everyone who joined us to farewell our Year 6 students last Thursday night. We had a great night, lots of dancing and a few tears during the student powerpoint presentation. The photos from our photo booth are below as well as a video of the flashmob. Congratulations, Year 6! We will miss you.

Carols 2015

Thanks to everyone who came along to support our Carols evening! Well done to our year 5&6 students who did a super job performing Silent Night with their ukuleles. Thank you Miss Hibbert for doing such a great job organising this event. Lots of photos below!

Gill’s Radio Interview

Well done to Gill, who was part of a group of students from across the Hunter who took part in a project created by the Hunter Writers Centre, designed to help people learn about what it’s like living with a disability. Gill did a wonderful job during his interview for the ABC1233 radio program – you can hear his interview with Leonie Slade below and there are also some links that explain more about the project. Thank you to Karen Eastwood for her wonderful work on this project and for inviting Gill to take part.

Art Cave

Just a reminder, we have a great opportunity for our Year 6 students this Friday in the Art Cave. Jane has organised a tie-dying activity and students have been asked toΒ bring in a cotton shirt if they wish to take part. Thanks Jane for organising this!
