This term we have started our Reading Buddies program with students from 3S. Reading Buddies is all about fostering positive reading habits, developing confidence and modelling expressive reading skills. Well done, everyone!

The OC have really been enjoying taking part in Reading Buddies over the past few weeks with their new friends from 3AD. It’s lovely to see lots of reading, discussion and happy faces. Well done for being such great role models!

Our class has begun Reading Buddies with 1E each Friday. 

Reading Buddies is a program where older students are paired with younger students for one-on-one reading time. The program aims to develop reading skills and enhance self confidence, academic performance and a love of reading.

Well done to our students for sharing their positivity and enthusiasm for reading with our younger students. It is a joy to watch!

Today the OC participated in their first session of Reading Buddies with students from 1/2E. Reading Buddies is a great program where older students are paired with younger students for one-on-one reading time. Students enjoyed personally selecting books to enjoy with their buddies and will meet again next week.
