Congratulations to all of our students who completed this year’s Premier’s Reading Challenge. A special mention to Noah K, who received a Platinum certificate for his seventh successful year of completing the challenge. Well done!
Below you will find our OC Reading Challenge for 2017 that students can also work on in conjunction with the PRC.
The 2017 PRC starts today! The book lists and online reading log can be found at https://online.det.nsw.edu.au/prc/home.html
Have you started this year’s challenge yet?
Students in years 5 and 6 need to read a total of 20 books (5 of which can be personal choice) from either the 5-6 level or 7-9 level book lists . We have a section in the library dedicated to the PRC and book lists can be accessed by visiting the link below. Students have until August 22 to complete this year’s challenge. Happy reading!
Well done to the students who have been reading lots of books for this year’s Premier’s Reading Challenge. The competition ends this week, so all entries need to be completed online by Friday or paper entries given to Ms Armstrong. If you’ve been collecting sponsors for the Book Bonus, please finalise these by Friday.
This year’s challenge has begun and all students are encouraged to participate. Last week information and details were sent home about the the Challenge including how to register and record the books you have read online. Students have until the end of August to read 20 books and collect sponsorships as part of the Book Bonus fundraiser. Miss Beker is also offering an incentive this year. The class who has the highest amount of participants and the greatest amount of sponsorship will receive some new books for their classroom. Well done to the OC students who have already begun reading PRC books and collecting sponsors.
