CEP Digital Media Festival

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our school at this great event last night! Well done to the Sapphires who had their last aerobics performance of the year and to our Bandlink students who also did a terrific job. It was an absolute treat to watch MC Squared on the big screen! Congratulations to Ember, Eleanor, Indra and Elsie for their excellent work. CEP Digital Media Festival – next Thursday!

There’s not long to go now, the CEP Digital Media Festival is on next week. Make sure you’ve bought your tickets, which are on sale at the silver seats of a morning before school. Have a look at the wonderful film Freckle Goes To School by Mala, Nyah, Mala and Lucy, our 2nd place winners and Classroom by Sam, Noah and Jarvis, which came 3rd. We can’t wait for the premiere of MC next week.

And the Oscar goes to…


Congratulations to Ember, Indra, Eleanor and Elsie who were announced as the winners of our Stage 3 stop motion animation film competition today. Their short film MC2 will premiere and represent our school at the CEP Digital Media Festival on the 17th November. Well done to all of our Year 5/6 students who put in an amazing effort creating their films, designing sets, props and characters and editing to produce high quality final products. Placing 2nd, well done to Jatali, Mala and Nyah with their film Freckle Went To School and to Sam, Noah and Jarvis whose film Classroom came 3rd. We will be uploading our films in the near future for you to enjoy and will also screen them at our weekly assemblies in the coming weeks. Be sure to buy your tickets for the CEP Festival. Our aerobics team and bandlink students will also be performing. Tickets are $5 each or $10 for a family- on sale before school at the silver seats.


CEP Digital Media Festival 2015

Thank you to everyone who came along last night to support our school at the CEP Festival at Waratah High. It was a great night – the Sapphires and Bandlink did an excellent job performing and the premiere of our short film was well received. It was lovely to hear so many cheers for Mr Junon’s cameo appearance! Please have a look at the photos and videos below!


CEP Outdoor Digital Media Festival

Our CEP Outdoor Digital Media Festival is on next Thursday beginning at 5pm at Waratah High. Our aerobics team the Sapphires will be performing at 5.45pm and the short films are screened from 7.45pm. Last year was a huge success and this year is shaping up to be even bigger and better. Don’t miss out on your tickets, on sale before school or from our office ($5 per person or $10 for a family pass). Come along and visit the Tighes Hill fundraising tent where we will be selling lolly bags and drinks and cheer for our short film Happy – starring the talented students from our school! Below you will find a short teaser trailer, creatively made by Dan and Vincent to promote our CEP production.

Come along and support our short film Happy, visit our fundraising tent where we will be selling drinks, cakes and lolly bags, plus a special performance from our school aerobics team the Sapphires.

CEP Digital Media Festival

Thank you so much to everyone who came along last night and supported our school at the CEP Outdoor Festival. It was terrific to see so many Tighes Hill faces there! Thank you to Miss Staniland  and the families who baked delicious treats for our fundraising tent. We raised over $300 which will go towards our Year 6 fundraising.
Lastly, thanks again to the lovely Mrs Bowman who did a stellar job directing and editing our film.
