Congratulations to our students who were recognised for their achievements at this week’s Principal’s Personal Best assembly.

Congratulations to Noah and Dayna who were today elected as the OC’s SRC (student representative council) members for 2014.
We conducted a whole class ballot for students who were interested in standing for a position which will involve representing our students at meetings and working with our captains to make school decisions. A big thank you to Demaris and Eva who took on the official role of ballot counting.
Disco Fever
Thanks to our wonderful students who supported the SRC disco last night. There were certainly some very bright and shiny costumes and some creative dance moves taking place. Well done for making a super effort to make this event such a success. A great time was had by all as you’ll certainly see in the photos below!

Jeans for Genes Day!
Today our school supported Jeans for Genes day with a gold coin donation and some stylish denim threads! So far we have raised over $338.Β Well done Tighes Hill! The money raised will go towards helping the Children’s Medical Research Institute.Β Thank you to the SRC and Mrs Dickson for organising this event.
