Book Week

Well done to everyone who dressed up on Friday to take part in this year’s Book Week celebrations. Unfortunately due to the rainy weather we were unable to enjoy our parade and performances outdoors, but students did a great job parading in the upper hall. Congratulations to Vincent who won the lucky book prize for dressing up. Photos of the creative costumes below!

Thank you to everyone who came along and celebrated Book Week with us today! It was terrific to see so many of our students dress up as a character from a book they connect to for this year’s theme – connect to reading. Well done Rory, who won the lucky dip for best dressed. If you haven’t visited the Book Fair yet in our library, make sure you don’t miss out – it’s open until the end of this week.

Today our school celebrated Book Week – Read Across the Universe! Students enjoyed dressing up and parading in front of friends and family. We enjoyed a variety of performances from our infants classes and both junior and senior choirs. Thanks to the wonderful P&C for providing a tasty shared lunch of sushi and hotdogs. A huge thank you to our amazing Miss Beker for her wonderful organisation of this terrific event. Don’t forget the Book Fair will be open in the library tomorrow before and after school if you haven’t yet purchased some books.
