Year 5/6 Fair!

Congratulations to Years 5 and 6 for their amazing efforts in running our annual Year 5/6 Fair! We had a variety of stalls including face painting, hair and beauty, Splat the Rat, Gladiators, drinks, ice cream, jumping castle, video games, Foga (fun yoga), Ninja Obstacle Course, pizza, cake stall, lolly bags, guessing competition and more! A huge thank you to all families for your generous donations and support of this event. #bestfairever

Hall of Fame – Quality

Congratulations to Emma and Chloe who achieved 5 Mastery of Quality ribbons this term and were inducted into the Hall of Fame this week. They also got to enjoy a delicious morning tea with Mr Selwood!

The Periodic Table of Yumminess!

Thank you to Liana who made a huge effort baking Birthday cupcakes by creating deliciously edible Periodic Table cupcakes! A very impressive effort! Thank you for sharing them with all of Stage 3.

Skipping Superstars!

Congratulations to all our amazing skippers for their efforts and creativity in choreographing a skipping routine to a song of their choice.

Checkmate!

Congratulations to Noah, Connor, Akira, Hunter and Corey who represented our school at the Interschool Chess Challenge State Finals on Thursday in Sydney. The boys played extremely well given the fierce competition and 5am start, placing 7th in NSW. A great achievement, we are all so proud of you! Thank you to all the parents for your support, chaperoning and time.Β 

Book Week Celebrations!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Book Fair this week and well done to all of the students who made a huge effort dressing up in costume for this year’s theme Escape to Everywhere for yesterday’s Book Parade. We had a terrific day and there were so many creative and clever costumes. Thank you to Mrs Derricott who always does a fabulous job organising this event for us. Enjoy the photos below.


Chess Champions!

Congratulations to our super Chess team who represented our school at the Interschool Chess Challenge State Semi Finals yesterday. Our team placed 1st, with Connor crowned the top player of the tournament in 1st place and Jamie in 4th. The boys will now head to the State Finals in Sydney. Check mate!

Winning Writing!

Well done to Layla who was announced as the winner of the Touchdown School Magazine Writing competition today! Last term, students created a 150 story starter using a collection of words from the magazine. It was very exciting to have one of our amazing writers win! Layla’s entry will be published in the October issue of Touchdown.Β 

Science & Engineering Champions!

Congratulations to the OC who were the winners at today’s Science & Engineering Challenge! Students did a fantastic job working through a series of STEM challenges which included bridge building, creating a bionic hand, designing a chair, creating an earthquake-proof tower, wiring a city with electricity and creating secret coded messages to send via fibre optic rods. Well done to everyone for their team work, problem solving and creativity. It’s been a huge week, so enjoy a relaxing weekend!
