Well done to Noah and Sophia who were elected to represent our class in the 2016 Student Representative Council. I’m sure they’ll do a wonderful job organising lots of great fundraisers and events for our school.

Debating Fun!
Swimming Carnival
Well done to everyone who participated in our annual swimming carnival today! It was great to see so many students having a go in numerous events and displaying great sportsmanship and camaraderie. Thanks to Mr Slade for organising a fantastic day. Students who have qualified for Zone will be informed in the coming weeks.
Reading Buddies
Our class has begun Reading Buddies each Wednesday with 1E.
Reading Buddies is a program where older students are paired with younger students for one-on-one reading time. The program aims to develop reading skills and enhance self confidence, academic performance and a love of reading.
Well done to our students for sharing their enthusiasm for reading with our younger students. It is a joy to watch!
Art Cave
Today the OC enjoyed their first session in the freshly revamped Art Cave! Thanks to our parent volunteers, Jane and Thuy, who organise this wonderful opportunity for our students. Today we began with ceramics – can’t wait to see how our creations turn out!
Reader’s Theatre
Have a listen to our Reader’s Theatre podcasts for the play ‘The Great Bovine Brou-ha-ha’. Students did a wonderful job performing with their groups, creating some interesting and hilarious accents!
Outdoor Education visit
Well done to everyone who took part in our first excursion of the year to the Outdoor Education Centre at Morisset. We all had a fantastic day with beautiful weather all day long. It was terrific to see everyone have a go and display courage when participating in the challenging activities. Very proud of you all! Thanks to our wonderful instructors Connie and Joe!
