The OC are taking part in the Newcastle Herald writing competition and we are currently researching and investigating stories that will make great articles about the people and events taking place in our community. If you have a story to share and would like to be involved, please see Ms Armstrong or contact us at school.
This year’s challenge has begun and all students are encouraged to participate. Last week information and details were sent home about the the Challenge including how to register and record the books you have read online. Students have until the end of August to read 20 books and collect sponsorships as part of the Book Bonus fundraiser. Miss Beker is also offering an incentive this year. The class who has the highest amount of participants and the greatest amount of sponsorship will receive some new books for their classroom. Well done to the OC students who have already begun reading PRC books and collecting sponsors.
